An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly proactive Manager, HR and Organizational Development (HROD) to lead the HR Administration and Staff Development function at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN). 

The Manager HROD will manage the HROD team and lead on people management functions, such as global payroll, employee contract management, employee relations and enforcement of HR functional policies and procedures. The  Manager HROD will have oversight and responsibility for HR matters across 16 GAIN Country Offices. S/he will also supervise recruitment, performance management and training & development in line with the strategic direction of GAIN. Further the  Manager HROD works closely with the Senior Management Forum to advise the senior leadership on strategic people and organizational design matters.
The  Manager HROD will maintain confidentiality and provide services to employees and management in a process driven manner with the highest levels of integrity and accuracy.

Further the ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of local social security system and local labor law and experience managing a teams. Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail is essential.

Fluent English written and verbal is required; French is an advantage. This position can be based in either London or Geneva as the team is distributed across these offices.
