GAIN fights malnutrition in Bangladesh through innovative and sustainable models that increase access to affordable nutritious foods among communities vulnerable to malnutrition. GAIN successfully supported National legislation on fortification of edible oil with Vitamin A and facilitating the National School Feeding and Nutrition Policy and National Strategy on Prevention and Control of Micronutrient Deficiencies, Bangladesh in close partnership with Government of Bangladesh and development partners. 
GAIN is now seeking a dynamic Junior Associate to support the Scaling Up Rice Fortification Initiative, a partnership between the Government of Bangladesh (GoB), private sector actors, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), World Food Programme (WFP) and other United Nations (UN) agencies and funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (EKN).

The goal of this appointment is to support implementation projects in GAIN Bangladesh and follow-up activities.
S/he will engage with multiple stakeholders and provide need based support to achieve deliverables of the project(s).

The ideal candidate must have demonstrated Expertise in Quality Assurance and Quality Control regulations. S/he must be analytical, with the ability to effectively liaise with creative and research agencies and government offices. In addition, experience on report-writing and documentation, and an Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bangla skills is required.
