GAIN is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Administrative Assistant as a key member of the Knowledge Leadership unit to support admin and programmatic support to knowledge mobilization activities in collaboration with the Knowledge Leadership (KL) and the Communications department and provide administrative assistant support to the Director of KL.
Reporting to the Director, KL, the Administrative Assistant will have the opportunity to take the lead on the coordination of GAIN’s participation in international conferences and to Co-lead the internal newsletter, by collecting, selecting and editing stories from country managers and initiative leads.
S/he will also be responsible for drafting and processing contracts, and monitor their implementation with project managers, executing agencies and consultants as well as Updating the KL projects database and liaising with Finance for the monthly KL financial report.

The Knowledge Mobilization and Administrative Assistant will also support the Board and donor reporting and track organizational performance measurement indicators by coordinating and co-draft the annual and mid-term performance reports to the Board.

Tracking  GAIN publications and events and coordinate document review process,  Co-drafting or editing  internal policies and documents related to publication, dissemination, partnerships and others (e.g. Principles of Engagement, Due Diligence policy, document review procedures) will also be part of her/his responsibilities.

Strong attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines and excellent administration, communication and presentation skills are required.
Excellent command of English and knowledge of Microsoft Office Package is essential.
