The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is searching for an IT systems specialist with knowledge of Salesforce to support them in the roll out of a new MIS / CRM system. 

GAIN is a Swiss-based foundation launched at the UN in 2002 to tackle the human suffering caused by malnutrition. Working with both governments and businesses, we aim to transform food systems so that they deliver more nutritious food for all people. In particular, we aim to make healthier food choices more desirable, more available, and more affordable. GAIN’s mission is to advance nutrition outcomes by improving consumption of nutritious and safe food for all people, especially those most vulnerable to malnutrition.

The IT Systems Associate will assist with the release of the new MIS / CRM system, including end user training, support and administration of the platform. The role will provide ongoing support to users who are physically dispersed, working with them to ensure they can use it to maximum effect.The role will also require general IT support and administration. Specific responsibilities include; 

  • Salesforce application administration and management
  • Training for end users and super users
  • Quality control of data on and assistance with the auditing of the system
  • Logging, managing and resolving end users’ queries, retaining ownership of issues and escalating to external support network or the Head of IT where necessary

Candidates for this position must have a solid understanding of Salesforce and be capable of delivering training and support to staff, both in person and remotely. They should possess knowledge of ITIL and project management methodoligies such as PRINCE 2 and Agile.
