The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is searching for an Intern, GAIN Nordic to support the delivery of the GAIN Nordic Partnership Activities and programmes.

GAIN is a Swiss-based foundation launched at the UN in 2002 to tackle the human suffering caused by malnutrition. Working with both governments and businesses, we aim to transform food systems so that they deliver more nutritious food for all people. In particular, we aim to make healthier food choices more desirable, more available, and more affordable. GAIN’s mission is to advance nutrition outcomes by improving consumption of nutritious and safe food for all people, especially those most vulnerable to malnutrition.

The Intern will be supporting the creation of a web-based “Innovation for Nutrition Catalogue” and the Project Disrupt which aims to build GAIN and the nutrition`s sector’s capability to innovate. Some specific responsibilities include;

  • Conduct a mapping of existing specific solutions on, which are available within the top selected innovations identified through a Delphi Consensus Study.
  • Create a catalogue based on the surfaced solutions.
  • Design a mechanism for a partly self-sustained web-catalogue.
  • Supports other events as needed

Candidates for this position should possess strong analytical skills, show initiative and be able to prioritize their workload with a commitment to quality and accuracy. Candidates for this role should also possess excellent multi-media design and web-based development skills.
