The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is searching for a Salesforce and IT Systems Administrator with knowledge of Salesforce to support them in the roll out of a new MIS / CRM system. This role is offered on a permanent basis.

GAIN is a Swiss-based foundation launched at the UN in 2002 to tackle the human suffering caused by malnutrition. Working with both governments and businesses, we aim to transform food systems so that they deliver more nutritious food for all people. In particular, we aim to make healthier food choices more desirable, more available, and more affordable. GAIN’s mission is to advance nutrition outcomes by improving consumption of nutritious and safe food for all people, especially those most vulnerable to malnutrition.

About the role

The Salesforce and IT Systems Administrator will assist with the release of the new MIS system along with the administration and management the platform. The role will provide ongoing support to users who are physically dispersed, working with them to ensure the product meets their needs and they can use it to maximum effect. The role will also require general IT support and administration.

Specific responsibilities include;
•Salesforce application administration and management
•Training for end users and super users
•Quality control of data on and assistance with the auditing of the system
•Logging, managing and resolving end users’ queries, retaining ownership of issues and escalating to external support network or the Head of IT where necessary

About you

Candidates for this position must have a solid understanding of Salesforce to be able to make changes to the system and add functionality to enable the system to evolve and adapt to the needs of the organisation. The role holder will be capable of delivering training and support to staff, both in person and remotely, and they will ideally be Salesforce certified and possess knowledge of ITIL and project management methodologies such as PRINCE 2 and Agile.
